Materials:
Wire
pliers (rounded and flat)
wire cutter or strong scissors
For the ring, I did my own take on this tutorial.
For the ‘love’ bracelet, I used the rounded pliers to shape the letters into “love.” make sure that when you round the ‘L,’ your loop on the bottom is big enough for a string or jump ring. Attach ribbon, jump rings and/or chain.
For heart bracelet, I measured the wire around my wrist + 3 inches. Using the rounded pliers, I bent the hearts just like it was instructed in the ring tutorial. I made one heart bigger than the other for contrast.

Happy Mother’s Day! Today’s DIY is a lovely paper rose corsage. I splattered watercolors on both sides of a piece of posterboard: Yellow and red, then blue and fuchsia on the flip side. I painted another piece different shades of green for the leaves. I made the roses using this template, and hot-glued a pin backing to the center of each set of leaves. To prevent the watercolors from coming off on the recipient’s clothing, I painted the leaves with a pearlescent mint green nail polish (clear topcoat would work just as well!). Perfect for moms, aunts, grandmothers, and all the special mother-figures in our lives!

WHAT?! pinata COOKIES?!?! Why didn’t I ever think of this? Though time consuming, this tutorial seems pretty simple. It will also be a fun project to do with kids.
I would totally put sprinkles in my pinata cookie instead of the m&m’s. And my cookie pinatas will be purple, blue, yellow and green. What colors would yours be?

Unfortunately, with a full time job, a customized iPhone case will not be able to be completed in a timely manner. It took several weeks for me to create the one on the blog, even with a lot of free time. I would love to make them, but there are only so many hours in a day!!
