Hey everyone!
I’m back with another DIY!
I found these brown and orange leather wrap bracelets and decided to embellish them with heart-shaped studs and spikes. The leather wrap bracelets were purchased at H&M.
Brown leather spiked wrap bracelet:
You can find the spikes that I used here. Measure out the placement of the spikes equally. Make marks with a pen/pencil/marker. Using an exacto knife, cut an ‘x’ over your marked position. Push the screw through the ‘x’ incision and screw the top spike on.
Heart-shaped studded orange leather wrap bracelet:
The heart-shaped studs measured 12mm, so they fit around the wrap bracelet perfectly. Line the heart studs equally on the bracelet, making marks if you have to. Using the back of a scissor, push down the pins on the back of the studs.
Enjoy!

Creativity comes from trust. Trust your instincts. And never hope more than you work.

This is another supereasy, supercute DIY that will make you look like a boss. We went out in NYC for Stanz’s birthday last night, so I took the opportunity to craft up some bomb-ass pretzel necklaces to give away as favors. This would be a fun and easy DIY to do with kids, it’s that simple:
Select pretzels that arent too thin or crumbly: check out what they look like in the bag. If it looks like most of them are intact, chances are they’ll hold up.
Just take some pretzels and an optional paper decal (I printed mine out of construction paper, cut it out and added holes at the top and bottom), string them along a ribbon long enough to wrap twice around your head. Tie the two ends into a secure knot and ta-daaaah, you’ve got awesome party favors for your next birthday, bar crawl, or your kindergartener’s next field trip. Ah, the cleverness of you.

THE BEST 30 SECOND DIY YOU WILL DO ALL WEEKEND:
I’m obsessed with the layered look for jewelry. It’s best achieved with a variety of chain lengths and an eclectic mix of textures, colors, and materials. Build your own collection of layering necklaces with stuff you already have! So awesome and easy, you can DIY while getting ready. Omg, #OMWDIY.
RIDICULOUSLY EASY: Gather up old pendants, beads and charms to string together.
For the shorter necklace, I paired a silver sailboat I got from a gift shop in Rhode Island with my gold Sigma Theta Tau pendant (nerdy nurse alerrrrt) on a short, chunky silver chain.
——-
FOR ADVANCED DIY’ERS ONLY (jk): Pick contrasting bracelets and necklaces with lobster clasps. Chain them together. Add pendants. Bask in your own genius.
For the longer necklace, I took a thin gold chain, clasped it to an old bead bracelet, and attached a small locket charm from a Forever 21 necklace and a long gold feather pendant I got ages ago on one of my Michael’s shopping sprees.
Happy Labor Day Weekend! See you on the beach!
Anonymous asked: This isn't a question. You should go with a sleeveless blazer. Yes, Mac it up!
Sleeveless blazer, you say? …But what if it gets cold?
